Operation “Announce” [LED] [ORANGE], “CLONE”
“CHANNEL ONE”
“CHANNEL TWO” … until
“CHANNEL FIFTY SIX” : UHF or
“CHANNEL TWENTY SEVEN” : VHF
[RED Blink] : Master
“High beep once”
[GRN] : Slave(s)
“Low beep three times“
Slave Unit Setup
1- To start up the clone slave/s in the Clone mode, press and hold [PTT]
and [PF2] keys while turning the transceiver power ON and hold for 2
seconds and an orange LED will appear.
2- Release [PTT] and [PF2] keys.
3- Select a channel table number (refer to Instruction Manual for
frequency) for using cloning path by PF1 (increment channel table)
and PF2 (decrement channel table).
4- If you have more than two units, step 1 to 3.
Master Unit Setup
5- Exact same step 1 to 3 and step 3 must be select a channel table
number same as the clone slave unit.
Start Cloning (Master)
6- When ready to Clone, Press [PTT] on the clone master to begin data
transmission. The master unit Red LED will be display and blink at
a rate of 300ms.
When the clone master finishes sending data, a “confirmation” tone will
sound.
Start Cloning (Slave)
7- When the clone slave starts to receive data, green LED will be
displayed during Data receiving.
If data transmission failed while cloning, the Slave unit will produce an
Error Tone, the red led will blink at 500ms interval.
If the Slave unit is cloned unsuccessfully, the led will remain Orange
(back to step 3).
8- The Slave Unit, which fails in cloning, will go to “Un-program” mode
by returning to User mode.
9- When the clone is completed, turn off and re-power-on returning
user mode.
Note
• After a successful clone, the slave unit will set “Scan” to its default value. (Scan=Off)
• The Dealer can clone data to two or more transceivers by repeating the above procedures.
• If the transceiver's Clone Mode is configured as "Disabled", the transceiver cannot enter Clone mode.
• Clone mode cannot be entered in a low battery state.
• A unit cannot be a “Master Unit” if it is un-programmed. If [PTT] is pressed on non programmed radio,
error beep will sound.
• Once a unit is set as the Master, it cannot be a slave after all data has been transmitted. This is to
protect the data in the Master unit.
• The Master Unit and Slave Unit must be of the same model type and destination in order for Clone to be
carried out.
• Clone mode will not operate if “Super Lock” or “Key Lock with Backup” is activated.
